 The “Muff Diver” is a 1984 Ocean Yacht, refitted throughout in 1992 and re-powered in 2003 with twin 500 HP Northern-Lights/Lugger 6125A Diesels. In 1992 she went through extensive re-modeling to make the vessel more charter fishing friendly. The “Muff Diver” has heat/air conditioning, TV/VCR, stereo, microwave, refrigerator, ice maker and other amenities. The cockpit, planned with the fisherman in mind, is fully equipped for offshore fishing. There is a large kill box for your catch with an ice machine feeding it to insure your catch is kept fresh. There are two chairs, or one chair, a rocket launcher or nothing in the cockpit depending on the kind of fishing to be done. She has full state of the art electronics. Owner/Captain Wayne Bradford bought the Muff Diver from Captain Joe Riley in December of 2006. Wayne has fished a good deal of his life but became an avid offshore angler about 12 years ago. He was looking for his own boat when he stumbled upon the Muff Diver being for sale. He purchased it with the understanding that Captain Joe would stay with the boat and teach him the business, both business side and boat duties. This process has been completed. Wayne is an avid fisherman and a person with a vision for the Muff Diver’s fishing future.Former Owner/Captain Joe Riley is still running the Muff Diver on a very limited basis. Captain Joe has fished from the Florida Keys to the Delaware Bay for the past 33 years. He has placed in many of the tournaments that he has fished and still enjoys taking his clients out for a day on the water with the new Owner/Captain/Mate Wayne Bradford. You will enjoy his customers’ hands-on approach to his fishing charters – he wants the customer to hook and catch their own fish if they want to… if not, Wayne or Ryan will do it.
Captain / Mate Ryan “Rambo” Knapp has been working along side Owner / Captain / Mate Wayne Bradford for the past several years. Early in his life Ryan began crabbing, hunting and fishing with his grand-dad and uncle and has countless hours (and stories) about fishing and crabbing growing up. As Ryan aged, his desire to go offshore and hunt for “big game fish” became his true passion / obsession. Ryan is constantly learning new tricks and skills of our trade. He has spent extended periods of time fishing in Guatemala, Isla Mujeres Mexico, Bahamas, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, and of course Ocean City Maryland. Ryan’s personal goal is to never stop learning and honing his skills as a Captain / Mate which shows in his preparation and enthusiasm each and everyday. Ryan is a delight to work with and our charters find him very informative and full of enthusiasm through out the course of the day.

We are more than happy to teach and answer questions about what we do to make the day successful. We are always open to suggestions from the experienced and not-so-experienced anglers.
